Default Little problem, need opinions...

Well last nite we installed my Injen CAI in my ITR, but it was a cold nite and when i reinstalled the Tower strut brace bar i snapped one of the 4 bolts (not the bolt itself but the thing is screwed on to) by accident. Can it be fixed, or it it not a big deal? What should i do?

Pound out the stud and replace it.

It's a stud, just pound it out. It is not attached to the sheetmetal.

Then if need be, you can draw in the new stud by tightening down the nut.

YOu can just use a 12mm bolt and nut when you pound out the old one.

But if i hammer it through, won't the new stud not fit because the hole will be bigger, or will the stud's threads break instead of the hole getting bigger?

The threaded end of the stud is not bigger than the hole.

If it were, how do you think Honda put the stud through the hole?
