Last night i almost got owned by my carbon fiber hood. Luckely secondary latch saved my front windsheild. Well anyways were is there a shop that puts in hood pins and does a good job. Too bad area51 charges 100 bucks. Please help

 

It is really easy to do it yourself. There is a hole right above the headlight that the pin fits perfectly in.

 

i dont htink im going to DIY, carbon fiber hood was too expensive to do it myself

Hood pins I would find someone who has done it before. I don't have ***** to do mine but I'll be taking it to MOB to have painted and installed

 

pussay..i did that myself . all you need is a power drill set and you're ready to go

they're not hood locks, so it's easier

do it yourself amigo..its simple

 

Install pins into radiator support, *make sure they are tightened unlike what my friend did* then put a dab of white-out on the tops of the pins, lower the hood onto the pins, then make a hole where you see the white dot on the underside of the hood. Simple.
