Default Rebuilded SIR won't start, very hard to figure what's wrong, input needed ASAP.

we just finished hooked up everyting fine, and started the car, it run for like 15 minutes in the driveway and died.
- we now got a weird sound comming from the main relay, like if he click eraticly and very fast, without any audible patern.
- now we, tried another main relay, same problem,
- we got good ground on trany, batterie, valve cover
- No fire comming when we start,
- the starter does turn but engine does not fire anything
- we tried another ecu PR3 same probleme
- we tried another distributer, no sign of improvement
- we do have gas, and we hear the pump comming on,
- when car have started, cutoff was set at 4000 rpm.

I really dont know what's the problem, it's the first time I encounter this one, I am a bit confused about what to do right now. I did a search on main relay, found just about nothing except cheking the ground what I just did 500000000 time.

any input is greatly appreciated

thank's in advance

yhea,
the motor was in that car, he blew the motor up, we have rebuilded it from botom end to the head, put it back in, start and it work pretty fine except for the cut off a 4000, died after 15 minutes and now, won't start at all, plus this dizzy main relay sound! pretty weird,
timing belt is dead tight, I even think it's too tight though, this will have to be checked, but it dosn't have a link with the clicking main relay!

still confused,

You didn't mention it, (but it's probably there), the thermostat ground? Have you tried testing the wiring going into the main relay, to see if there is a open circuit or something. The Helms has the procedure in it. Let me know if you need it.

No I havn't checked that it was the next step till everybody talk about it,
so if you can come up with the procedure it would be nice! than'k a lot cause I don't really know how to do it, I can shurely do it with my tester but having a procdure is always better.

anny other input from anybody, anything is appreciated
see ya

Yep, it was the main relay ground, the one on the thermostat housing, the wire was broken in the harness, we probably mess thing up when pulling the engine out, so long thing are solved and the new beast is hella fast. cant wait till the snow get the fok out of here to test it on the track!!

anyway, pretty happy with the turn out the this project, thank's a lot to everyone for their time and support specially to Redline

see ya
