the front itr shocks are too tall for the 88-91 civic/crx if you are going to lower your car you will run out of travel

this is the same with eg fronts on a ef

if you don't lower your car you will like em

yeah i've got itr on the rear and it's got my back jacked up about 1 1/2 inches. it's stiffer but soon to be replaced w/ kyb's and eibachs. as posted before, i did'nt have room for the fronts.

Well what is travel exactly? is that the amount of space the shocks travel when you go over a bump?
sorry i'm not really knowledgeabel about suspension.

so if i used ef springs with ITR struts.. it would trun out to be a very comofterable/idlea ride?

i believe it's the amount of compression the strut allows before bottoming ? i think?

yes that is exactly what it is.

when you have longer than stock shocks (let's say ITR ones, for example) and lowering springs, you essential move the strut piston lower into the shock body. this can lead to your bottoming out more since you have reduced the amount of allowed shock travel.

does that make sense?
