Default DC5 ITR Struts

Does anyone know for sure, if the DC5 ITR strut is shorter than the type S?

I need to replace my 2 front ITR struts. I want to keep the ITR spring and top hat. Would like to see my options for replacing the struts only.

Any insight would be great, thanks.

Not sure about shorter, but the tie rod arm is at a slightly different angle to compensate for the lower car.

With that said, I do have a set of very low mile A-spec struts that are almost identical to the DC5 ITR struts and they would make suitable replacements. PM me if you'd be interested.

A-Spec struts are slightly shorter (with revised strut-arm angles) and definitely stiffer than OEM struts. Not sufe if the DC5R is even shorter than those.

Still, springs is what determines ride-height and I'm pretty sure the perches will be equal.

I had a set of Tein S-techs (~1.5" lowering) on a set of A-spec struts once and the A-spec shocks handled the teins great. Really great, actually.
