help with wiring my alarm!!!
Ok I got my alarm and I was wiring it but I came to one problem. I connected all the wires except for the doors. I was looking at the wiring diagram and it said there was a wire to lock doors and a wire to unlock doors...But I only have 1 wire connected to the alarm for the doors. Well 1 is a positive(+) door input wire and one is a ground(-) door input wire. Someone told me that I have a negative pulse doors so im thinking to use the ground(-)wire but there is only 1. How do I connect the wires if there are 2 wires for th car and 1 from the alarm??? I doubt I have to splice....Should I connect it to only one of the 2?

type of security system are you installing? On most alarms its a plug in wire
harness....thats what you will use to connect to your doorlocks.

okay the wire you have is for door trigger input most Honda cars are a
negative or ground type input. What you want is doorlock output wires...what
type of security system are you installing? On most alarms its a plug in wire
harness....thats what you will use to connect to your doorlocks.

OK thanks guys...so its to the door lock wire and not the door unlock wire right? How does the car lock still even though its only connected to the door lock wire...and does anybody know how to re-attach my dome light since i changed my radio?

hmm if its a dei product your door trigger input will be green then you will most likely have a small white two wire plug(unless it has onboard relays) that has your green-lock/+unlock and blue -unlock/+lock and use them as your door lock wires
dome light ? is it a civic? did you remove your factory radio and then it went out? if so there is a green harness behind your radio you have to jump two wires together for it to come back on light green with a red stripe and light green with a black strip jump them together and ur light will work fine again

Ok I have a 98 honda civic....The alarm I got was some omega k9 mundial alarm that i got for free from my friend. I am saying that I got a diagram saying i have a wire to lock the doors and a wire to unlock the doors in the car....is it wrong and i only have one wire which you guys are saying? You guys answered my other question already saying that I have to use the ground(-) wire from the alarm so i am good on that...
Also you guys told me I need to connect 2 wires from the green harness again for it to work again....Which wires are these?

Yeah you need to connect the unlock wire to the wire that is for unlock in your car and the lock wire from the alarm to the lock wire in your car.

no0o0oo i only have 1 wire that is coming from the alarm which is the ground(-) door input wire and im saying that the diagram says that there are 2 wires coming from the car which is the door lock wire and door unlock wire....

The one wire you are talking about from your alarm is for DOOR TRIGGER NOT DOOR LOCKS! There is a difference between door trigger and door locks. The wire for DOOR TRIGGER is lt. green/red. IM me on AIM at CHACINC or QuickN199 if you still need help.

On the OMEGA systems the doorlock outputs are in a plug in port.
If you do not have this pin....you really cant work the doorlocks without it.
See if you can find an Omega dealer or modify another alarm company's
product.
Its a 2 pin plug thats needed. Its position should be imprinted on the alarms
case.

ok thanks.....but does anyone know what two wires i have to connect to get my dome light back on the green harness behind my radio?
