Check engine light NO MORE!!!!!
Alright guys I finally for the first time got completely rid of my check engine light. Ive had a motor swap now for the last 9 months on my 88' dx hatch I started with a B18a and Just 2 weeks ago put on my b16a1 head. I just put on my knock sensor today and after 2 weeks of trouble shooting got rid of a couple of other codes. I am happy because this is my 2nd car to have a swap in and I did the wiring on this one and it runs it accually run's. Anyway I just thought Id share my good news.
The codes I was throwing were Air Intake Temp. And the problem with this was the ground wire was burned some where so I just looked at a wiring diagram and ran a new ground and that took care of that. I was also throwing Map Sensor and I got rid of this when I went through and Soldered all of my wiring conections tonite, and Then last but not least Knock sensor.
The black wire is the ground. Run a new wire from the sensor to the black wire on the coolant temp sensor. and see if this might take care of your prob.
