Sycromesh is ment only for the GM trannys that call for it (not all GM trannys use Sycnomesh, most use AFT) It is differnt than what is in the honda all togeather.

I use it.. and I would recommend it.

But don't get the one that is in the small bottle.. get the one that looks like a normal oil container which says "friction modified".. it's about 13.44 each.

you'll love it..

You can also mix half with honda MTF, I did that for a while.. but it's your choice..

you only need the "friction modified" if you have a clutch type lsd.

I used it for awhile, then I shoot my center pin out of my dif through my tranny housing. Not saying this was anything but where and tear though. I am not blaming the synchromesh!!!!! After that though I will run honda fluid only.

you'll get better shifts with the friction modified one though.

I've switched around with different fluids about 10 times, and this one works the best. The regular GM stuff is a waste of time IMO.

all i know is that the pennzoil syncromesh is GL-4 certified.
