Default is the swap this easy? b16/91 HF

Okay i just got done reading the info on the website listed on my sig. and besides the rewelding of the passenger side motor mount, which for my father should be no prob.(i don't weld!) and the four wires, is really simple.
i did my own ZC swap so i know what to expect and maybe that's why i'm so relieve about the swap.
is there anything else i should worry about?
the guy talks about using the 86-89 teg axles(fine there) and relocating the 'back" tranny mount to the right(ok with that also) and do the wires...
that's pretty much it.

i'm swaping a b16 off a delsol, anything else to worry about?
thankx for the time.

i posted this on the hybrid forum but no answers...

Uhh, not 86-89 teg axles. I believe they're 90-93 integra axles. The swap isn't that bad. Do you have a 4 speed? If so you may have to change your hubs/knuckles.

The swap is not that bad, but its not that easy. You are probably going to need a different distributor and you definatly need a new ECU

Have you tried to seach?? This has been covered many many many times.

You don't have to weld anything, you can get HCP or HASport, or Place Racing b-series mount kits. You need 90-93 teg axles and intermediate shaft, as well as the cable tranny. Unless you want to use Hydro which has been done, but it's a lot more complicated. And since you have an HF you do need to get the teg knuckles, or civic ex, as the hf uses a smaller diameter axle.

I don't know what your talking about the tranny mount, back to right?? You do need to retain the rear tranny mount to use.

You also need to either decide to go obd0 or obd1. This is a matter of prefernce. I went obd1 with my swap.

Edit: Oh yeah it is easy.

Yeah.... Dont know what all welding talk is about. just get a mount kit. also a delsol b16a has a hydro tranny and your car uses a cable one. if it were me id sell that swap, and by a cable obd0 b16a swap for your car. that swap is worth more, so sell it and you might pocket some money.

the welding he's refering to is the re-welding of the hcp mount (there was a writeup on it here) which enables you to bolt the hydro tranny with motor into a 4g. i believe that the guy who did the writeup put a typer motor/tranny in his 4g hatch and used (and modified) the hcp mounts, so, for the sake of doing things the way he did, i'd go with the hcp mounts

okay let me make it simpler by stating what i have and what the plan is.
first of all i already have the cable tranny. so the hydro thing i don't have to worry about.
next in the website on my sig. the guy talks about relocating the rear tranny mount to the right(driver side).

he says,
"For those of you (as I did) who are going the weld-in mount kit way and doing it yourself, begin by moving your OEM Civic/CR-X rear mount over to the second set of holes located next to it on the rear cross-member. Too obscure for you?....
Ok once the original engine is removed look at the rear cross-member and unbolt your (doughnut shaped) rear engine/tranny mount. Now see how there is a second set of holes on the cross-member, located immediately to the right (ie towards driver side) of the ones you were just using? In the US these mount holes are used for AT trannies, it turns out that if you simply move your rear mount to these holes then it is perfectly setup for the B16A. From there, you could bolt up your engine/tranny while still supported by a 'cherry picker' and see just exactly where the new mounts ought to be welded - make sense? Yes? Good"

that's what i was talking about. i do't have the 350-400$ to expend of MM, so this seems like a good idea.

i have a p30 ecu. can i use that one?
and on that site the guy talks about using 86-89 teg. axles. he does explain that is often use the 90-93 but those aren't a perfect fit like the 86-89.

"I first tried '90-3 Integra axles. This seems to be the quick fix in all the speed shops I have visited so far. Problem is they don't always work. Why? One of the axles is a tad bit too long and if the B16A is mis-installed then the axles will not fit.
After going through the books at a Master (Axle) Rebuilder's, it was found out that the perfect fit from a US part would be attained with '86-9 Integra axles. I am using 88s."

any info. ideas are welcome...
thanks!

as far as moving the rear mount goes, its a lot easier to understand once you have the motor out of the car. if you look on the rear framerail, you will find your rear engine mount. you will also see an extra set of holes that allow you to move t about 2 in towards the drivers side. its kinda hard to get to the rear bolt unless you have a swivel. my trick is to loosen the four 17mm bolts that hole it to that body, this lowers it down a tad and makes it easier to get to. later in the swap you will need to slide the 90-93 integra "L" bracket over that mount.
