Default resonator vs. cat

i found a shop that would delete my cat, so what i thought of doing was sticking a resonator in it's spot, so that i would have two resonators to quite down the 2.5 piping. anyone have pics of what the inside of a resonator looks like? how much more restrictive is a cat than a resonator? thanks

dont do it, it's not gonna be worth the money. just get a test pipe at http://www.testpipe.com for like 45 shipped and install it yourself, then get a silencer or a quiet exhasut

I would get a high-flow cat instead of a test pipe. They flow essentially the same as no cat at all, and your car will smell like *** with raw unburnt exhaust coming out. That and you won't be guilty of spewing pollution into the environment, not like that matters or anything.
