Ok so far ive removed the entire trunk, back seats, those plastics on the sides up to the doors, rear speakers, antenna motor, rear seatbels, and im chipping away at the sound deadning. what else can i remove? the passenger seat will be removed for the track, is there anything behind the door panels that i can take out to save weight? how about under the carpet? and no Im not removing power steering or A/C.

 

maybe you should start cutting the car a little for less weight =D

 

Rear bumper support but I wouldn't reccomend it for safety reasons. I did it though

 

There is sound deadening under the carpet. You can get FAL windows and pull the washer fluid reservoir and hoses. ABS can go if you have it.

 

dont forget headliner and airbags.

 

cut he side impact beams out also, they weigh a goo dbit. Also the metal braces under the front of the rear seat.

 

LOL this is still a street car guys....what can i take out and still survive a 15mph crash?

Get a bed matress and flip the car over on its roof (onto the bed matress)and take the under coat off...

Its a Joke...if you have a car that is totaly stripped out nothing at all just a shell you can do it...But the real people have a car Rotisserie so they dont have to use a bed matress...Or flip the car on its side onto the matress....
