Default Kenji's P28 and Ignition timing.....

Im about to buy Kenji's P28 for my Eurospec ITR. My ignition timing is now 18deg.

Do you guys think that I should advance or retard my timing when fitting Kenji's P28? Or leave it as it is i.e 18deg. ?

Check my sig for my mods.

I think 18° is quite safe because it is between factory specs (14° to 18°) !

I think its pretty odd that your trap speed in your sig is in MPH...

Leave it at 18. If you have access to a dyno, you could check 16, 17 and 18 all seperately with kenji's ecu. Some engines like 16 or 17 better than 18, there really isn't a right and wrong to suit everyone.

Whatever you set it at, the timing maps of the ecu are all based off the base timing you set by rotating the distributor, so nothing will be changed on the ecu.

Do you think that your post is a good answer for my question??? Your reply has nothing to do with what I asked. Aren't we here to help each other or to make fun of out of something that has nothing to do with the question asked. This isn't the first time that happend in H-T.

Thanks anyway

It's pretty hard to know if someone from another country is going to understand our sense of humor.
