ok, i got a 93 civic ex, and it's in pretty good condition, but it's auto. Now, im either gonna sell it for around $3,000, and get a manual civic, same model, for around $4000. Now since im going to do a swap in my car sometime within half a year newaiz, should i just keep this civic and swap the tranny while im at it? would it save me more money, or would it cost more? any help on the pricing (parts and labor) for an auto -> manual conversion would be greatly appreciated

 

I know that if you search for this topic you will find lots of info. on prices and which process would be most efficient. I know because I had the same concern...I'm going to new jersey this weekend to trade in my auto for a manual. That's what I would do, but it really depends on what kind of money you're working with. i dunno i would wait for the conversion if you really like car you have now, but switching the whole car would be easier, but if your gettign a swap anyways then i would just find one that comes with a tranny, many of the good ones do.
