Max Rev kit, vs. a Stage III Drag kit.
Which is better? Do they both provide the same amount of power. My focus is drag, and excelling in the 1320.
Any advice on what turbo kit to get would be greatly appreciated.
BTW im leaning more towards the drag kit.

if you want , you can go with a custom kit. There are alot of people on H-T that sell very good products.. FULL RACE sells a great kit for Hi Power street kit, if your only chice is MAXREV AND DRAG i would go with the DRAG. you can upgrade the turbo manifold which is the WEAKEST POINT of the DRAG system ,to an INLINE PRO .Everyone can help you to put togehter a Nice kit for great price
The quality of the max-rev kit is far superior to the Drag kit. The drag kits never want to fit right, the quality of componets are crap and you will spend more money upgrading to better stuff in the end that the max-rev already has. Jump on KS motorsports deal of 2400.00 for the max-rev, and get the hondata option as well.

WEll considering that this person wants to DRAG the MAxREV with all due respect , there manifolds dont look like they flow too well.. if you look in the ports they are VERY VERY rough and has alot of steps and turbluance. Do you think this person is willing to cut and weld there own kit together . DRAG fits very well by the way. Im not a DRAGTurbo kit fan but i can do the DRAG BOLT ON KIT for $2400 with a hondata upgrade too.

dude...i swear to god do a custom kit!! most times you can save money and even if you do spend a little more than a turbo kit you will be getting what you wan the FIRST time. If i had to do it over again i would save my money and get the right stuff the first time! peice to gether what you like about each individual product and them go from there. just dont forget about the little things...I.E.-fittings, good gauges, strong piping, ect. The little things make all the difference. If i had to give advise to anyone i would suggest: don't be in a hurry! slow down and do your research, then choose exactly what you want! you will get boosted eventually, and in the long run you will save money and you won't have to do it twice! believe me, once you go turbo then the search for more and more power will be endless. A kit is always a good place to start but once you get involved you kick your self in the *** for spending all of that money and now having to spend more to go faster!!

I easily was making around 350whp with that rough max-rev manifold on 12psi with an internally stock gsr block and 60-1 turbo. The rev hard manifolds are nice, but to be honest the they wont flow much if any better than the max-rev manifolds. Unless we are talking tubular, equal length manifolds the gains from running a rev hard vs max rev shouldnt even be an issue. The drag and revhard will crack over time, the max-rev wont. You can upgrade to a 60-1 with the max-rev kit. My best street manifold goes to the max-rev manifold for its quality, durablity and overall strength. For a kit i'd go custom, get what you want and do it right the first time.

He probably would have made around the same numbers with the max-rev. Neither have merge collectors, neither are equal length runners. Flow is going to be close to the same. I will give the rev hard the edge only because it has a better runner pattern.
