Will electronic VSS just drop in and moun up???

i was curious to as whether an electronic VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) from newer model cars will just drop right in like the old mechanical sensor? and mount up with the two bolts? anyone done this?

bolts may not line up on some of the models but they will work just the same.

it will work, but you just need to rewire it and get a new cluster, like the jdm ef8 cluster.
