hey guys quick question..On a non hid jdm front end can you ...
can you still add hid's to it? or can you only get the aftermarket ones? Philips ext..anyone know if they are still 9006 bulbs?

Reid - I'm not sure what you mean by "yes". Without modifying the entire headlight housing, how could you add anything but an aftermarket retrofit kit to the non-HID JDM headlights? Or was your "yes" just to the 9006 portion of the question?

YES you can at aftermarket HID's to the non-HID headlight housing. However, I dont think you can add JDM HID's to a non HID housing. I have the JDM HEADLIGHTS with aftermarked HIDs and it works just fine! You may have a problem with sealing the back of the housing because the JDM HID ballast is what seals out the water....a little duct tape/electrical tape and your good to go.

i have the jdm hids and i took them apart out of curiosity. they are totaly diff. you can only add aftermarket not oem jdm and the non hids are a 9006
