Which of these collectors is best (N/A) for race and street application.
I have a hotshot h22a race header.... i`m not to crazy for the collector design.. i`m wondering if it would be best to swap it for a hytech designed collector.. where 4 pipe cut and slanted and an angle and tiged then merged into a bigger funnel.. kinda like this one..

would this type of collector offer more power than the hotshot design ? would i loose power over the current collector ? is there a benefit to this ?
etc etc
opinions please!
thanx guys!!

yes, the HyTech (type) collector design is better IMO .. plus many other companies use it and are more successful. Its Burns type I believe.

Yes..you will make more power with "true merge" collector. My friend put merge collector on hot shot headers(na H22) and had good result compare to run full hot shot headers. If you interested,I could get you street merge collector or the true merge collector.
what is this true merge or street merge. what is those difference can you post a pic... and is there a certain angle for which the bent marge into the collector and sizing ?
