I'm going to build my ITR (once I get it) via the n/a route. I would like to get as much power as the motor can handle while still being a daily driver.
I would like to hear from all of you ITR owners on whetther you think strokign to 2.0 liters is cheating when going all motor. If you hit high numbers with a daily driver while sticking with 1.8, will people have more respect for you?

Haha, parents working on the deal right now. But anyways, I'm not building it for anyone else. I am building it because it is an awesome looking car with lots of potential. I would just like to be respected since lots of people already won't since my parents are buying it for me.

Learn to drive your car on the road course.
Leave it stock until you can out-drive the car.
That would earn you respect, since you wouldn't be just another dumb, magazine-reading tool who wants to build his engine for "as much power as it will handle".

No, I will be buying all mods and paying for insurance on my own.
Don't have an RX-7, I was going to get one for my 16th b-day until my dad talked to some of the dealers he calls on and found out about their reliability. Used my user name I use in all forums so I don't have to worry about remember 7 diffferent names and passwords.

I palnned on driving on the tracks in ATL as they are the closest one to me, and not doing anything to it until I have enough to do it right and am comfortable with the car.
You know what would get you respect (if that's what you're after)?

Track = road course
