How low to go?
Okay, long story short. I threw on coil overs but forgot to get the factory ride hieght from the ground to the frame or sideskirts (how ever you would prefer to messure it). Anyone know what it is?
Also what is the hieghts that people like to drop to? Right now I have it at 1 finger between the fender well and the tire but want to go lower once summer hits. I have some Blue's on order so I will not be running the facotry shocks. What are the popular drop ammounts (facotry alloys) w/o having any major problems?

Anything more than a 2" drop and you're going to be running into major negative camber, scraping speedbumps, poor handling, etc. If you can afford new tires every few months for that 'dumped' look, go for it!
Otherwise, stay conservative or look into getting camber kits.
Off the top of my head, I would stay stock height from floor to the jack points (on the sides of the car) is about 6.75-7".

thats bullshit . i have ridden on my other teg with 3+ inch drop for like ever and never had unnormal tire wear and get this . . . . never aloigned and no camber kits,
my type R i was slammed over 2.5 prolly 3 inches or so and never had camber probs again and no tire wear and never realigned, i only got camber kits becuase i get em for free. so why not take em . . . integras take drops very good though.
dont believe the hype man /

nope, now your talking about diff cars. . . civics its verty common to wear on almost any drop ,. mosty in the rear , becuase. . . . linked rear susp

What I said is overly generalized, but I do know that a 2.25" drop (Neuspeed Race Spring for example) will yield approximately -2 degree negative camber on a 3rd gen Integra (front). Thats enough to wear the inner tire tread faster then the outer, regardless of tire brand, rating.
Either way, run whatever you want, just realize that too much negative camber *might* eat up the insides of your tire and will do little for street performance.

Different cars? Which civic? 5th gen shares the same suspension design as the 3rd gen Integra, very similar cars. 6th is very similar as well.
In general it is better not to go beyond 2 inches, especially if you are on stock dampers. There are exceptions though; my car was dropped for 3 years at about 2.25 and I had barely any camber wear. But the troubles that you run into when being too low are not worth it.
my 90 integra is dropped about 2 inches and there is no visible camber problem and no tire wear....i also have a 88 accord(first car) that is slammed like 3.5-4 inches and it looks like everthing is about to brake up front but no problem in the rear. it has been that way for about 9 months and i bottom out on everything and it suxs....but for some reason there is no inner tire wear?????????? it is noticable if i go around doing burnouts or somethin though....just normal driving and no prob
