Greddy Turbo Kit for Civic Si\SiR
I'm considering ordering this kit for my SiR, has anyone ran this setup? How did you like it? How much extra HP and TQ can I expect? Is it reliable?

very, very reliable, though you dont get as much horsepower as revhard or drag 3, greddy is a true bolt on kit that is very daily drivable
I have a Greddy kit on my Si and love it. Got it dyno'd the other day and tuned as well. Put down 260hp and 178tq on 10psi. Got rid of the Greddy blue box and put in a Vortech FMU and a missing link piece.
Internals are Eagle Rods/JE 9:1 comp pistons oversized/bored .020 over (making the compression 8.8:1)/and a JE blockguard.
Only problem with the Greddy kit is that the Downpipe is about the size of a quarter. Other than that, I love it.

Im just looking for a modest upgrade that will be reliable, and 260 HP is more then modest. LOL holy crap! what is the recomended PSI to run it at?
The wastegate that comes with the kit is set for 7psi I believe, but I have the type 24 intercooler, which is HUGE, and without a boostcontroller, it drops your psi to 5. So you need a boost controller to bring it back up to even factory levels.
Also, the main thingw that aids in my 260hp are the FMU, Thermal exhaust, highflow cat, 10psi of course, and A GREAT TUNING SHOP!!

No, the kit doesn't come with either. I have the type 24 intercooler and the HKS SSQV bov.
You can normally find a group buy for the turbo kit and i/c for about 2900. Sometimes 2800 depending on how hard ya look.
Edit: Also to let you know....I have raced a teg with a Drag kit on it before my tuning. As you can see on my dyno sheet above, I was only cranckin out 215 I think it was. Anyway, still had 10psi and they were runnin 7psi. Beat them by 1/2 a car. Don't know if they post on here or not....but it was a while ago. I think it was green. It was on I4 in Florida if anyone knows the car (in Sanford). They were riding with a SOHC civic that was turbo'd as well.
