i have a 99 si. looking to go forced induction but not sure what kit to buy. i was thinking about the jackson supercharger for a while but eventualy came to a turbo setup. right now im contemplating either the drag kit or greddy kit. is one better than the other or is there a good bolt on kit for around 2500-2800 thats as good as drag or greddy. i know the greddy has no intercooler, but the drag has somewhat of a primitive fuel managment setup. so basicaly any opinions are welcome. thanks

 

Depends on what your looking for. Greddy is a good reliable kit that makes moderate power and the drag kit is still pretty reliable but usually make a lil more power. I would piece the kit together and try to fit in some type of engine management other that an fmu, missing link or the emanage that comes with the greddy kit.

I would go Greddy. The kit makes good power and the Emanage system comes pretuned, but can also be retuned for higher boost levels. It also comes with bigger injectors. I think its the most complete kit out right now and more than capable of some big power numbers at higher boost levels. The Emanage is a good unit, the former FMU dubbed the "blue box" was quirky and had issues but as far as I know and have heard the Emanage is rather solid. The only problem I see with the Emanage is finding a tuner in your area for it.
