Default how many lbs to recover NA hp??

When I replace my stock pistons with turbo application ones, I know I'll lose some horsepower due to the lower compression. My question is, how many pounds will I have to boost at on a b16a just to be back at my normal HP level? (160hp) I will also be putting on a thicker head gasket as well.

loaded question, all depends on turbo size, but you'll never have less power with a properly designed and operating turbo system than the n/a setup it replaced.

If I had to pick a number I'd say around 1psi, going from say 10:1 to 9:1, but I don't have to pick a number.

maybe 2 psi and you will make more then n/a. if the turbo is efficient down there.
