Default automatic si question

my buddy bought a 91 dx auto and wants to do a mpfi swap and keep the auto trans since he drives this car alot in rushour traffic. he is wondering which ecu he needs to use since he wants to keep it an automatic. will the manual ecu work but throw codes? does he need to get the si ecu ruburned or the dx ecu reburned? looking for options and opinions, thanks in advance.

Sorry I wasnt trying to sound like a dick but I was sitting on here last night and replied to the one and then described it all in an IM (which wouldnt help you anyway ) but I keep seeing different answers everytime so I figured a few posts that actually have somewhat the same info in it would help you out....
