Default Pulling rod peices out of my block

driving home 2 days ago i felt/heard asomething big, and i lost all power. i towed my car home, and it has sat for the past day, i was to mad to even look at it. so i figured id see if it would still start, so i started it, and it sounded like it wasnt running on all 4 cylinders, so i went around to the front and saw oil pouring out. so i feel around up on the block, and what do i find?? my rod sticking out, so i pull it out, and notice that in the process it punched a hole in my oil filter to, not that that really matters anymore. so my question is, is there any use to the engine, or is it just complete trash??

oh yeah, its a d15b7 out of a 92 dx sedan.
