I really need to sell my turbo. It's a rebuilt garrett t3 (.48ar .42 trim).It's perfect for a DIY sohc turbo project. I have the turbo wastegate and downpipe. Reply here or I.M me. $200 shipped anywhere in the U.S.
There is no shaft play what so ever and it's in perfect working condition. I replaced it with a larger t3t4 turbo for my b16.

would this turbo be too small for a b16 boosting ~10psi?? i may be interested...

 

Thats why i'm selling it. I ran it on my b16a (actually ran that 13.79 with it) but it runs out of steam in the upper rpm. The b16a flows to much for this turbo.It acts like a sc on that engine, all the power down low, spools instantly but lacks top-end power. I also ran it on my sohc and it kicked *** all the way up to redline...

Is this a diy mbc, or bought from a shop?

 

Honesty is the only way to go, I know i've been ripped in the past so i'm not about to do it to someone else. What goes around comes around, plus i like hanging out here and i don't want a bad rap....

 

It was bought from a shop, But it's basically a DIY type ball and spring. I've used it for about 8 months with no problem.I switched to an external wg on my new turbo and don't plan to run more then the .65 bar that it set for. At least for a while.

 

how big is the DP and how much for it. pics will be great also.

MBC is a manual boost controller so you can adjust the boost. It has an internal wg that regulates the boost at about 5.5psi.
