Greddy Type-31 How much HP?
It's not really that small though compared to what some are running. I measured it and it is like 28" long 2.5inch Thick and 8inches tall.

No your wrong there. Intercooler size does limit your HP potential. That like saying a 1.5" exhaust will make the same power as a 2.5" exhaust.
Intercoolers don't make power. I don't think there would be a limit if you set it up correctly either. Once again it depends on your set-up and tuning.
As for the type 31 intercooler, a 28" intercooler without end tank is pretty big. I had no idea that it was that big. If that where the case then i would say that it is good for 500+whp. But if u have the option why not just be on the safe side and get the type24. IF u are planning to make crazy power.

From what I've noticed in my car, after bolting on the FMIC I probably experienced a 15-25HP increase at 7-8psi just by cooling the air. Thank you very much....
ok, i think i have your answer....
the type-31 starts losing efficency at 18-20psi. As for how much HP, you cannot really put a HP number down, as different cars make different HP numbers, but the intercooler efficency rate is based upon pressure. hope that clarifies this dispute.

I just measured it again. It is 27 for the core and 32 from endtank to endtank. The height is 7.75 and the thickness is 2.75
