Default Awful Noise - Help!

Hi,

first of all I've got an RSX, but you guys seem the smartest...

..I'm running on my stock struts and comptech springs. Under -very- heavy braking, I'm getting this terrible, loud poping, thunking noise from my right front suspension. I've only had a chance to give it a quick look, but there are no signs of rubbing and nothing obvious seems to have fallen off, etc. Any ideas? Broken Strut? Ball Joint? help!

Thanks
Jeff

I wouldn't be so sure. At least call us stuck up A holes.
Now for your problem.. have you checked your car out on a lift. Or taken it in for warranty work? at least have the dealership look at it. if its under warranty its free.

I had this exact same noise when I had my skunk2 coilovers on. Under a hard brake this weird pop occured and everytime I would brake, or shift hard the noise would come back. They checked it out and found no problem of it happening again. The noise is gone now, but a few times under hard shifting the noise still occurs.. Oh and I also broke a motor mount, so you may want to check the motor mount on the passenger side out. Good Luck bro and I hope you find the problem out.
