So my girlfriend has an 03 RSX and I've been doing some maintenance work to it and just some small odds and ends and lately I've been noticing whenever she takes off a little faster than normal and turns especially on hills that there's this loud sound. Its hard to explain but I was possibly thinking it could be a ball joint or something. Its not a poping or grinding sound but hopefully you guys will understand what I'm talking about. Has anyone ever had this issue? Or does someone know what the problem could be? Any help is appreciated.

If you're doing maintenence jack up the front and inspect the suspension.

It comes from the front end. I might have to record the sound because its hard to describe. Its like a loud humming sound and you can also feel a slight vibration through the seats when it happens. It only occurs when she hits the gas a lil harder than usual from a stop.

Would a wheel bearing howl all the time? Or onlu when you take off?

I had a customer car that only howled at specific mile per hours. It was crazy.

Hmmm, it only occurs when she takes off faster than usual. I'll have to jack up the car and take a look. When it does happen though, the car sort of shakes and if you were driving over the rumble strips on highways.
