Car won't fire / start...
Ok, here's my delima... I have a 94 Integra LS and I replaced the cams and I pulled it in the garage one night and the next morning the car would not actually fire. It would turn over and had fuel coming, however it wold not actually turn over... Well I thought it might be the ignitor so I replaced it... The coil I tested and it was good. I have narrowed it down to the distributor and I can't seem to find out my problem... Again the car turns over; however, it won't fire the plugs. The wires are good, the plugs are good but nothing gets the fire to the wires... the cap and rotor are good and I can't seem to put my finger on the problem and it's making me mad!!!
I've had a friend look at it and he thought it was the ignitor and that's what caused me to get a brand new one and put it in and still nothing... Well, Also when we got the car started (with a different distributor) it ran alright... but as soon as we turned the heater on it died, any idea why? Anyways let me know asap this is a friends car and I want to finish it asap. Thanks.

The cams are in correctly the only thing is I set the valve lash to warm lash settings so they are a little noisy, but other than that they are fine. Well, the car throws a couple of codes because right now it has a GSR ECU in it with an LS motor. so it throws all the VTEC codes and the IAB code so I haven't even checked it for codes. The timing is at stock timing and the cams are in correctly. So, I just need to figure out why it's so damn pig rich (probably all the codes from the VTEC ECU I think) and why it keeps dying... Oh well, please let me know what you think... By the way how do you tell if the cap and rotor are bad... I'm 99.9% sure they are good, but then again I'm .1% not sure... I thought they were a little corroded so I cleaned them up with some B-12 Chemtool and that took the corrosion right off. Well, let me know.
