Default Suspension Techniques sway bar kits, any problems??????????

I was looking into getting a Suspen. Tech F&R sway bar kit for my 00' coupe. My questions are:

Has anyone had any problems with these?
and
Will I need a lower rear tie bar to prevent any linkage breaking?

thanks

Or would you reccomend somthing else?

I ran a set on my Integra that saw lots of autocross and a little track use. Never had a problem with it. Mine came with reinforcement plates for the subframe mounts.

I'm running the front and rear kit on my 98' "used to be DX" (also a 6G like yours) Civic. That means the front control arms had no bracket for a sway bar so I had to use the adapter provided by ST. I've had 3 full seasons on them with 13 x 9's and Hoosiers with no breakage or signs of fatigue. And no lower tie bars... I think they're a nicely designed kit. Now the car is FI so we'll see if big hp *and* race rubber will bust anything.

I've had the ST rear bar on my teg for almost a year. Lots of street miles and about a dozen autocrosses. I've been really happy with it. The install was a cinch. Really well put together. Great price too.

btw, shop around, I ended up calling a few local places, but only 2 gave me a price over the phone. One guy wanted almost $100 more than the other.

Only problem I have had with my ST rear bar on my 91 Civic is that the endlinks/spherical bearings were kind of cheap and came undone a few times. The bar itself, and the frame mounts are stellar though. My problems may only apply to my specific application or my inherent idiocy and lack of wrenching experience when I put it on the car 2 years ago. YMMV.
