What are your guy's comments on the new Hyper Ground System ground kits? I've seen them dyno tested in last month's Turbo magazine and in some other magazines and have shown to make hp at almost every rpm range, and even up to 10 hp and 10 ft/lbs at points. Dyno graphs can't lie I guess. Do you think there are any advantages of those over some 4 ga copper high quality speaker wire? Do you think that they are worth the $120 or so, or would you do it yourself?

 

Dynos can't lie but I wouldn't put it past someone to adjust the timing or something to gain a little more power after they put their product on.

 

I have a friend that bought a kit, I went to the stereo shop and got some 4awg ground cable and some connectors. I made my cable kit and installed it. Then I installed his kit. There was no change from mine to his as far as HP and TQ were concerned. His was a little flashier.... HTH

 

Can someone explain to me theoretically why this is supposed to gain HP?

 

Theoreticlly, less interferance on all your sensors, stronger electrical system.
Have you ever had a bad spark plug or forgot to hook up a grounding wire.
