my friend has a 91 ls integra 2 door, and he was wondering if he would hafta roll the fenders for 205-40-17 tires? if so he would like to do it b4 he paints his car, so thanks for any reply's

i didnt have to roll the fender when i had that size tire on my G3 integ. sorry thats all i can tell ya.

 

no i dont think so, the biggest they they say to go is 215/35/18 and rim size 18 by 7.0

 

ive got that size tire on my 92 teg and there plenty of room

 

it just depends on how much your car is dropped.

 

when i had my 90 Gs (RIP) i put on my 17" rims w/ 205/40/17 and it only rubbed durring hard turns. other thatn that it was okay for normal driving.

 

you should have plenty of room as long as it is not dropped...if the drop is more than 1.0" then you will probably have to roll them

 

Get a bat & Roll em'

 

1. get a baseball bat
2. put it between your rear wheel and the fender well
3. get two fat friends
4. tell the two fat friends to sit in your trunk
5. roll the bat back and forth

=rolled fenders.

 

@ discount or american tire (cant remember which one) i saw them wedge a bat in the fender of this truck, and then they "drove" over it. it was mad tizite YO , the owner was right there too and didnt seem to mind at all.

 

heh heh... i sure would like to see something like that... i can't imagine letting any shop do that to my teg without a written guarantee that it will not damage my paint or fenders in any way...
