Default My Compression Test Results

Starting from cylinder 1 moving towards 4. 210-215-210-215. Are these strong numbers because in my Hayes manual it says they should be around 280 psi. I kno Hayes manuals suck but is that correct. I let the engine turn over about 5 times each time, and I checked each cylinder twice. Thanks

280psi would be like for a 12:1 CR engine.

I have 70k on the car right now and I am the 2nd owner. I bought the car with 50k, and the guy before me babied the car. Also, when I did the test, I didn't unplug an wires by the distributor. Was I suppose to? The only thing I unpluged was the fuse. Should my comppression be a little higher like jabroni95gsr's? Does this mean that his car is running stronger than mine?

the guys at the shop that did it for me did unplug the dist i think. there is a clip there that they undid. Not sure if that will have an impact on the readings...

to be honest though, my #'s are a little high. your's are def healthy, so don't worry. Be happy! you have a 1995 gsr. That was the best year. I am convinced of that.

My GS-R had:

240-235-240-240 - it has 33,xxx miles on it.

Acura says anywhere above 200 is perfect running condition.
