Default VAFC in Visor?

I know there are some people out there tha have done this.
one question. did you just splice new wire in to make it fit to the driver side visor? i would assume any wire would work right?

Ya we did have to cut the wire and extend it, but it was pretty easy. This is the AVC-R which harness is not as long as the VAFC, so you might not have to do that but if you do it's not that hard.

My friend has a VAFC and that **** goets hot! Won't that melt your headliner or something?

He has it mounted in his glove box.

It's actually hotter in the glovebox because the heat has no where to go.

hm...since it gets soo hot, it would be a good idea to pop out a center vent and mount it behind there and cool it

Looks neat, but I prefer the glovebox mount. It is hidden if you need to go to the dealer.

Plus, do you honestly need to look at it? I never look at mine.

I think the visor install must have a roof scoop to bring in fresh air to the unit.
