Default 1/4 mile times (messed around with the g-tech)

I was playing around with the G-tech tonight did a couple runs. I didnt do an all out launch cause my clutch is just about non existant. I was wondering how accurate this thing really is, i did three runs they were pretty consistant. They were all around 14.40s, but the mph were really high like between 110 and 111. How accurate is this thing, has anybody run them agaisnt the clock at a track. I wanna go to the real track soon but its only 20 degrees out damn winter My cars a cx hatch with a b18c with all the common bolt ons.

my experience with g-tech has been that the time you get back is usually within a tenth or so if you don't have a lot of wheelspin on your launch, and the trap speeds are normally 3-4 mph higher than you will get.

If you're speedo said that high of MPH and the GTech did, then your E/T is wayy off!!!

At the track your trap speed is calculated by averaging the last 60 feet(pretty sure, maybe 100 ft or something) and your final speed. So if you are running a 97 mph trap, you are probably going over 100.

actually my experience with the Gtech is pretty good
as with the track...i used it on the last CMI winter warmup
i ran a 13.20 @ 102mph and the GTech's result was 13.5 which was not that bad
as with the horsepower it said im making like 450hp and 140tq...hahhahah

g-tech never lies Yeah i am just thinking my mph were pretty high just because i didnt launch the car due to a non-exiting clutch One more month till the track opens so i can get some real numbers.

i agree with fcdrifter...
i've tested the GTech @ the track numerous times...
it usually reads 0.10-0.20 sec quicker and 4-5mph faster than actual track times...
