B18C crank journal bore/width?
rod or main?
F20B should be the same as H22A
F20B should be the same as H22A
The main journals are huge compared to the H22a. H22a is 50mm, but I have this one at 55mm.
So the rod bearings are B16, and now I think the mains are B series as well.
Well, Im pretty sure that the b series has a 45mm rod journal diameter.
As for the mains, you know that the h22a changed the size of the mains after1998
right? I'll check the diam todaywhen i swing by the shop.

From crower all b-series rod journals are 1.890" or 48mm
i have a 98 prelude crank sitting at my shop that uses larger mains than the older
cranks. so its fact, not misinformation.
for the rodsize, thats my fault,i was reading the eagle catalog, which says 1.772
but the box i have says 1.890.
im headin out there now, so i'll take some measurements and post later.

Okay, here it is. These are CRANK JOURNAL diameters, sorry didnt do width:
H22A1(93-96)/H22A4(97-98) - MAIN 50mm, ROD 48mm
H22A4(98.5+) - MAIN 55mm, ROD 48mm
B20A1 - MAIN 55mm, ROD 48mm
B16A/17/18/20b/z/etc - MAIN 55mm, ROD 45mm
Remember that crower lists big end bore at 48mm because thats without bearing
and we are talking about crank not rod here. When I quoted my earlier numbers
i was looking at the eagle CRANK, and then checking the box on the RODS which
is where the discrepency came from.
As i suspected, the F20B(being that it is in fact a destroked H22A) uses the same
bearing sizes as the H22A of the same year.

Actually I'm still out on the rod journal issue, I just measured the rod itself, and I have about 48mm diamter of the rod and about 45mm inside the bearing...so that makes it like a b series right?
I have to do a line bore, so I'm think about boring the block out (it's an A1 block)to 55mm for the mains (well I suspect it's more like 59mm cause block + bearing + clearance) to fit thise **** in. Good idea/Bad Idea?
