Do I need to leave the stock coil? And, do I just tap into the blk/yel and the wh/blu. (that is the wires inside the dis.)

I'm not positive but I think you may have to buy the MSD cap that eliminates the stock coil. Not sure on that though...

is yours internal or external coil? my LX is external coil, but it's a 96, so i dont know if they changed with the years. this is the way i hooked mine up. my setup consist of MSD 6al and blaster 3 coil.

external coil: you dont need to mess with the dist. at all, you disconnect the stock coil, remove it (if you wish), tap the RED wire from the MSD box into the YELLOW and YELLOW / BLACK stock coil wires, tap the WHITE wire from the MSD box into theGREEN stock coil wire.

then the ORANGE and BLACK wires from the MSD box go to the MSD coil.

internal coil: you'll need and MSD dist. cap.
