Default Got my fastbrake kit with legend calipers

well it was time to upgrade my brakes so i decided to go with the fastbrakes kit. brian is a great guy and i suggest everyone do thier brake business with him.

anyways i decided to try legend calipers instead of the type r ones. first i got a pair at a junkyard for like 80 shipped. i was going to rebuild them but after seeing how much it would cost to do it i decided for like 10 bucks more i would just buy a rebuilt caliper. they are 45 a piece at autozone and then like 60 for core. so actually they are worth more used then new haha. they funny thing is they shipped them overnight for free...if i did that it would be like 40 bucks just for the shipping.

anyways my rotors and pads came in today from fastbrakes and i got my "new" calipers yesterday. im still waiting for my "used" calipers to come in from the junkyard cuz i need some of the pieces of them to install my new ones.

anyways here are some pics: (sorry for the quality i took them with a free camera )

What size/type wheels will these be under? Can't wait to see installation and installed pics.

they are going under my stock wheels i also have a set of si rims too so they will need to fit under those also.

i believe all you have to do is shave the bracket a little bit for the fronts...

there really isnt much info on putting them on a gsr..but since they bolt right on to the type r i dont think there needs to be much modding.

the back is a different storey, i dont think its possible

what exactly did you get from fastbrakes.com? how much was the kit? i'm tired of replacing my brakes twice a year, and i want to do something different this time. i am very interested in the fast brakes kit, but im not too sure what comes with it and what work it requires. any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

actually i think it may be less then the single piston caliper...there was a thread that went into great detail about it somewhere. but the force is spread out more so you get better wear.

im sure the advantage is minimal unless you are racing.

the only thing you need to buy from fastbrakes is the rotors. but i bought my pads from him too. you buy the calipers from a junkyard or any other place that sells them.

just give brain a call or email him. hes a good guy

also the rotors were 60 a piece and the pads were 90 for both sides.

I want to hold off until you post up about the install, but this setup sounds golden.

just add one of my MC Brace's to the mix
