Default Greddy LS/GS turbo on my R

I emailed Greddy the other day and asked them (since the manifold set up on a B18B is the same as a B18C5) if the kit they have out for the LS would fit ok on my R. They said everything would bolt up right but the fuel management would mess everything up. Since I was planning on running hondata anyways i could use the LS kit on the R. Any opinions on this?

Any options on this?
What are you asking?

Install a LS kit and a Hondata, like you said.

You got it!
You could also probably up the boost some, but you'ld be a little out of the most efficient range.

Will you be running an intercooler?

Yeah an intercooler is a must...the reason i really dont wanna go with the Drag III is because of the cheap *** intercooler...any suggestions?

That cheap *** intercooler (as you call it) fits nicely in the opening of my ITR.

What kind of suggestion(s) are you looking for?

The Greddy kit will work, but there's a reason they haven't released one for the ITR (lack of breating capacity and fuel control). Ed

I wouldnt think greddy intercooler would be any less efficient than drag - i didn't choose drag kit because of manifold, plus downpipe wouldn't work with inline pro manifold.

I went with t4B S (50 trim) compressor with t3 .48 a/r turbine stage 2 wheel.. - I plan to run 4.5-5psi. My other choice was T3 S60. Anything less than that didn't look efficient on top end based on compressor maps. Since itr motor flows pretty well, theres a little extra to consider which compressor maps may not tell..

with above turbo trim i hope to spool fast enough yet keep the top end. oh and if you got the $$$, ball bearing spools faster

quick question about turbo setups...Before I decided to go NA, I contemplated FI, but was told to steer away from a turbo because the turbos sit so close to the block, and are capable of causing damage to the block from overheating. you guys know any truth to that?

Never seen any evidence to substantiate that theory.
