Default 92 integra b16

How hard is it to put a b16 into a 92 integra RS.
Since you can use your motor mounts, shift linkage, and axles.

How good is that setup for performance wise.

Your car is OBD1 and and the 1st gen is going to be non-OBD. Therefore, you will have to use a different distributor, ECU, and have to get a OBD1-->OBD0 conversion harness. Other little things like O2 sensor- heated to 1 wire O2, as well as wiring the B16's second O2)
What's wrong with your current stocker?

When doing the swap into a 92+ Integra, youll have to non-obd motor in a obd-1 car issue. What I did was exactly what Rawb described, but I also used my obd-1 injectors. The non-obd injectors have a different impedance and will fry your injector drivers in your ecu (Trust me, I learned this the hard way). You will also need an obd-1 vtec ecu. I bought a p28 ecu and had it chipped by Adrian at www. hyperducktuning.com (Amazing work and customer service, big ) Its a pretty simple swap though. It only took me and my friend about a day and a half. If I where you though, Id got with a b18c or ls/crv/vtec if you dont plan on going with any form of FI with the b16. The motor screams on the high end, but it has no ***** down low whats so every in the heavy da9 chasis.

What would i need to change if i choose to go with the GSR engine,
wait doesn't that engine has a hydro tranny ?

What kinda problems will i face, since my car is desinged for cable tranny.
I guess i'm asking is what exactly i need to get the car running w/ the gsr motor.

go to http://www.g2ic.com register and ask questions there but you will find your answer in the teg tips section under engine swap guide.. all you have to do is reuse ur distributor, fuel injectors fuel rail from your b18a, and find any odb-1 vtec ecu and your all set.. also you will need a jdm b16a cable tranny DO NOT USE LS TRANNY!!! belive me it will be slow as ****.. if you want to buy a clutch for it you have to buy it for a 90-91 integra.. hope that helps
