Default tire question...

sorry to ask about sucha whored out topic, but, is a 205/50 too large for a 16" rim or will it be ok? my car is pretty low and was wondering if there will be rubbing issues.

is it joe?
I think 205/50/16 will be rubbing ,why dont you get 205/45 instead of 205/50

yes it is joe and reason for 205/50 is because the rims i want have tires on them so i really don have a choice

not recommended... especially if you don't have stock suspension.

I take it some wheels off pwdjdm? I'd stick to 205/45 ro 215/40 or 215/45.

205/50/16 has a 1" larger diameter than 205/50. 3.7% more rotation (i.e. slower). Try the sizes cosworth indicated,

ahhh i remember, you had just come back from jdm land huh?

anyways, yea i know that a 205/45 tire is recommended, but the rims i want come with jdm rubber, yokohama dna's and they are on 205/50 which i don't prefer but they're an awesome tire and rim setup. just curious if it'll effect my performance in a major way...
