Just what it says...whats the torque on cam bolts?

 

**** I just answered that question last week seriously. search or better get a helms or haines manual.

 

did a search...closest thing I could find was cam gear torque. I need specs for the bolts holding the cam in...from the top..think that explains it.

20lb*ft for the inner 10 (or is it 8?) that are 12mm

7.2lb*ft for the outer 4 that are 10mm

Torque pattern is inside-out, alternating from right to left of the centerline.

Just follow that pattern.

the torque i believe is 87 inch lbs, or 7 ft lbs
