recommended spark plugs for b18b
i just did a swap and am wondering what spark plugs would be recommended...i'm looking to get a little better fuel economy being that i cam from an sohc engine.
go to nopi.com go to the ecat section and search for your car. (what the motor would come in). and it will tell you which plugs are available for your motor.i got the stock ngk's in my 99ls.
Yeah, unless you are running FI there is no point to getting anything other than stock plugs and wires, you won't see a gain.
In fact, there is a ten second all motor B18 civic that runs on stock ignition.

Stock is Copper, why not platinum? it is more expensive and is not as good perfomance because copper is a better conductor. Only advantage of plat is longer life.
i have plantinums in my ls, and i also run NGK wires. like they said, you can't feel a gain, but no complaints here expcept $12+ per plug
but i got mine at nopi also, because they are down the street for me, but they're a little pricey.

hey, you don't have to order the oem ngk's from nopi... with shipping n all.. it'd be cheaper probably goin to ur local kragen's. It was around like 1.75 a pop for me.
i had asked a general q about what other G3 teg owners are using for plugs..i found out you ought to just get the OEM plugs. In fact you don't even need to get em from honda/acura. Go to advance auto parts have em pully the car in the computer and bam..ur good..i believe they're the NGK coppers. they'll work fine...
