anyone with a B20B with B16A head?
im currently working on the same thing... all i hear is people saying 150-170 depending...
I wish I could get some numbers of bone stock b20b block with bone stock b16 head.

i was reading the its better to bore out an ls to 2l than it is to use the b20 since its not meant to be revved that high, etc etc... blah blah. so i suppose upgrade the internals if you're planning on high revving it
thats not true, LS and B20 have the same stroke, and are pretty much the same motor cept the b20 is bore'd out to 84mm with sleeves that are totally redesigned to handle the block being bored out to 84mm. You cant bore out a stock LS motor to 84mm without getting it resleaved.
The only thing people say is not to boost on it, because of the weaker walls. But many people have been able to boost 8lbs+ with no problems.
You can rev a b20 just as high as an LS.

Well let me break it down to ya right quick
i gots a b20b b16 head combo, sonmehwere around 9.3 compression. its got stock pistons with shotpeeened rods and no block girdle the head has type R cams and vavle train with aem cam gears it has been tuned by dynamic autosports. this motor is daily driven 700 miles per week, the v-afc and fpr were tuned along with the cam gears, it has a jdm itr 4-1 header stock throttle body and stock cat.

i was sporting the b20z for a wile before i got the b16 head back from skunk2..... if felt like my old gsr.... but the b16 tranny made it fun to drive..... but it sucks on the freeway.... my car is a daily driver and im thinking about putting on a b16b.... the b20vtec hasnt given me problems.... but its too much torque for that little tranny....
stock everything??? maybe 180whp with better pistons like ITR+ etc...check IB.com but keep in mind they are trying to sell their work with their dyno charts, lol
