i will be installing my mugen lowdowns this weekend,
this will theoretically drop the R 3/4in all around
my 16x7 te37s ( thanx to Batoutahell) with 215/45/16 Azenis will go on next week
this will basically be my track setup for the upcoming year
will i have any rubbing issues with this setup?

You might experience slight rubbing while on the Track but day to day driving I say no. I have Spoon Springs and I rub very slightly during hard cornering and I beleive the Lowdowns aren't as extreme of a drop, good luck.
The offset on the volks is +42. For what it's worth, the volks with 205/45/16 Yokohama A520's didn't even come close to rubbing on my car (I have the lowdowns also). Granted, I never tracked the volks, but I did autoX with them once with no clearance problems.

did you do that at the track?
i don't think the lds with produce that much of a drop in the rears
the spooms are notorious for their low rear drop
nice wheels by the way

I rub on the streets as well but very rarely, not enough to cut into the rubber or anything like that........I think you'll be ok with the lowdowns.
Oh yeah, I rub on the outer sidewall of the rear tires.
