Battery light on after alternator swap
My battery light's on after the alternator swap! I just put in a brand new battery and a rebuilt alternator from a '90 Teg LS (into CRX Si w/ a B16A). I'm getting 14+ volts reading on the voltmeter (that I also just installed) right from startup, and 14.5 volts on the handheld multimeter.
Also the 'check battery' light flickers when the car's taken up past 3000rpm or so, like it's turning on and off, though there's no voltage change... I already tightened the alternator belt also
WTF??

u should not be getting 14.5 with the car just idling u should be getting that at like 1500 to 2000 maybe your alternator is over charging the battery thats why u might have the light flicking on and off and did u check all the connection and made sure the alternator is grounded properly that can be causing the problem

Only time you get charging system issues that are belt related is when the belt is too loose. Could have a crap rebuilt alt or the harness its plugged into might have some problems(broken wire, etc).
