Default cams or rims?

Well, im debating on whether to get the 95 gsr rims first or the skunk stg 1. Im pretty sure i will get both of them but it will take time. I can get one of them 2 weeks from now. i can get the cams for 500 while the wheels w/ tires for 400. Which one should i get first? Oh yeah, im rolling on 17s by the way.

Are you into actual performance or are you into looks? If I were you, I would first sell the 17's you already have to some ricer and get the cams with the money you have. Then, I would take the proceeds of the 17's, supposing you sold them quickly, and I would either get the stock rims you were looking at, or I would slurge a little and get some very light weight rims........ maybe like these:

bUt ThOsE r UgLy, Y0. i NeEd BlInG bLiNg, F0O. Haha, just kidding. That's a great rim.

Anyway, a good compromise between weight and price are the Rotas. They have replicas of almost every "good" rim out there and the weight is pretty damn good as well.

True. The Rota rims, such as the slipsteams, will be a lot cheaper in price than those Panasports.

do u have enough saved up for the cams? if so get those, sell the 17's, use that money to buy whatever cheap 15 or 16 u want and then probably have a little left over for something else, if u want.

Get the cams if you can install them safely or can afford to have them professionally installed. With cams there're other considerations, they're more than just a drop in and speed away affair. There's the cost of gears and tuning, but if you already have 17s you like, that's the way I'd likely go.

Well, i am leaning toward on the cams more. I just needed your guys' opinions. My plan is to get either stock rims or the slipstreams. Right now I got a pretty light rims for a 17 inch. Its a Rota Stage 5 (16lbs), im not sure if it came out here yet because i bought it in the Phillipines around 2 years ago.
Oh yeah, i already got an adjustable camgears along with a vtec controller.
Cams are the only thing missing.

I think you can only hear your cams from inside the car
