Rims are not mine but a local foreign used reseller . He does not know what the rims are and says they have no stamping on them.
He claims they are 9-10lbs and made in japan.
To me they look like Konig Foil after spending hours looking through rims but those are 13.5 lbs.
Can anyone identify these rims?
he is calling your equilivant of 750us for them but the tires are no good. I would like to know because if they are indeed Konig foil rims they are not at all worth the cost and i would not want to be losing that much money for cheap rims
.
Konig foils do not come with dual valve stems I believe. And their stem holes are centered between the "Y" spoke portion, not the "U". There would also be some stamping marks on the lip.
If these have no stampings or markings, they are likely cheap knockoffs. Buyer beware.
I wish my memory would kick in right now... yes, it is from Japan, and I do believe Crimson Inc. made that wheel. Its very similar to the Racing Hart CP-035... but not quite the same spoke design... ugg, my brain is just not working.
so i took a chance and bought the rims. They JWL/JAWA/VIA certified so i dont think quality is a worry. They are also weighedand confirmed to be between 8.9 -9.1 lbs each.
I've provided better pictures now that I've bought them to try to determine what rim they are
