CTR pistons in GSR
im getting ctr pistons...what is the difference between oversized and standard? does oversized pistons require more modification to my block, because my bottom end is stock. any comments about the pistons please share...
thanks

Oversized pistons are .25mm larger than stock pistons, so your cylinders have to be overbored .25mm to accomodate them. This is only really needed if you have severely scarred cylinder walls that can't be fixed by a simple hone job.
Generally you don't really need oversized pistons; the increase in displacement is very minimal, and unless you have damaged cylinder walls there's no need to overbore. If you really want them though, they cost the same as standard size, and you should have your block honed any time you put new pistons in to ensure proper ring seating.

If you get the oversized your going to have to bore the block 20 over an the standered will just drop in, depending on how much milage your motor has you can get away with the standard size pistons. Over 80000 I would suggest boring it out so you get no blowby.
