whats up, i did the retrofit of oem audi HIDs into a denji... everything is installed fine and working but the cutoff seems to be inverted. its daytime so its hard to know for sure but it seems like the cutoff line is not allowing any light on the ground and shooting it all into the sky (or oncoming traffics eyes!) i have the cut-off shield with the

mounted like this, it seems to be right-side-up, but im not sure if the concaved glass projector lense inverts the image like a microscope, which means i would have to mount the metal cutoff shield up-side-down in order to get the proper cutoff. someone PLEASE help me with this, i need to drive 6 hours tonight and i need to get this fixed.. thanks

Are you talking about your beam pattern? Is that what the picture describes?

 

the picture was describing the metal cutoff shield that goes in between the bulb and the projector lense... i just finished taking them off and reversing them, it works now, this means that the projector lense does invert the image like a microscope and in order to get a stepped cutoff line on top you have to put the stepped portion of the shield on the bottom... its tough to explain but if anyone goes to do this mod he will understand better. thanks
